After much anticipation the Cabrini Connections’ program opened its doors for the official start of the 2010-2011 Tutoring/Mentoring Season last week with the best start in years! There were nearly 65 students that attended (several students observing and enrolling for this week) and nearly 70 volunteers (club coordinators and college zone coordinators officially start this week). Not only were the numbers good, but everybody seemed to enjoy the first night and are looking forward to a great second week…and a GREAT year!
We’d also like to say THANK YOU and CONGRATULATIONS to veteran volunteer Allen “A.J.” Tyson for entering his 40th year of volunteer service!!!! He has and continues to be a very special gift for the students, volunteers, and the program as a whole…THANK YOU!!!

We are still in the process of enrolling more great students and volunteers in the program for the year and are confident that the sessions will continue to operate at a very high level. We still are in need of financial resources so that we can continue to provide both students and volunteers with the necessary resources to be successful in and outside of the program. If you or anybody in your network is interested in supporting what we do here at Cabrini Connections, donations can be submitted here. If you have any further questions please don't hesitate to contact our office.
